Lorena & Matt’s Huntsham Court Wedding

At the end of June we had the pleasure of documenting Lorena and Matt’s Huntsham Court wedding. It was an absolutely gorgeous bright sunny day with an outside ceremony. We attended the pre-wedding party the night before Lorena and Matt’s wedding, so we had the pleasure of meeting some friends and family as guests arrived to enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Huntsham court – and its well stocked bar! The Huntsham pre-wedding party is becoming something of a legend to us, as many a Huntsham wedding we attend in the morning to a few hungover and confused looking people seeking out the kitchen!

As you will probably know if you follow our blog, emotion is our bag, we work hard to document all the emotions of a couple’s wedding day and do our best to capture the character of loved ones – we were spoilt with Lorena and Matt, as naturally warm and expressive people with a wedding party who clearly adored them, emotion was in abundance for us to document.

I guess trusting two virtual strangers to capture emotions you may never have experienced before is a pretty big thing, and we always work hard to make sure we strike the right balance between being in the right place and close enough for the images to convey feeling, and being unobtrusive enough for people to feel comfortable around us at these times.  We receive such lovely feedback from our couples saying they didn’t remember us being around a lot of the time, which for us is the perfect compliment.

The love and pride on Lorena’s Dad’s face when he saw his daughter is a memorable moment for me, and he looked so smart out of his Slazenger’s, Lorena!
