LUNA
Luna Weddings is me, Anna, although you won’t be the first person to call me Luna, there are worse names!
The rest of my website is to tell you about my photography and what I set out to achieve, but this part is to tell you a little about who I am as a person.
I have a dry sense of humour, I’m a cat lady, I like nice things, my drink of choice is a cup of Yorkshire tea (only made by me, I’m very fussy) or a flat white, or if we are being fancy, I really like champagne.
I love travel, I love animals, and I am the cliché – my love of photography began from a very young age when horses and cats were my main subjects. I shot my first wedding aged 16 and I’ve been telling wedding stories all over the world ever since.
I like to gently make my way through the world, seeing as such of it as possible along the way. I live in Mid-Devon with my partner Adam, son Cato, and our cats and dog, Bix, Mindy and Nala. Given the chance I’d have more animals.. and yes, of course I rescue bees (and pretty much anything… even a little beetle who needs turning back up the right way).
I love exploring the beautiful country we live in and I’m lucky to live just 30 minutes from Dartmoor. I also love a city break and enjoy exploring the streets, galleries and restaurants of new cities.
I change my hair colour a lot and I’m a little addicted to clothes but this year I’m on a ‘no buying’ year in an attempt to not contribute to the wastage in the clothing industry.
Whether you’re looking for wedding photographers in Devon, or elsewhere in the UK, please enjoy looking around my website and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to discuss your wedding vision!
Guiding, gentle and friendly, with calm and grounding energy. I bring my experience and enthusiasm and settle in with you and your guests like an old friend. I like to get to know my couples before the wedding and often build up a rapport on Instagram or WhatsApp, so when the day comes we feel like we already know each other! We will have chatted over Instagram, shared inspo over WhatsApp, commented on travel stories, bonded over cats, and seen each others lives, so when the wedding day arrives, I don’t just turn up to document your day – we already have a connection. I’m friends with so many of my couples and often go on to document other events in their lives, it’s pretty great!
