ALDOURIE CASTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Wedding days are generally full of smiles, but the joy present at Libby and Forbes Aldourie Castle wedding was something else. There was even a grin plastered to my own face, all.damn.day. A combination of an epic location, the most beautiful and unexpected Summer’s day, and the most lovely, fun bunch of people you could ever wish to spend the day with made for an amazing wedding to photograph, as well as one of my most memorable.
Libby and Forbes are a popular couple and friends came from all over the world to celebrate with them, providing moment after moment for me to document. It’s hard for me to choose a favourite moment from the day, but I think the smiles on both Libby and Forbes faces as they came back down the aisle after the wedding was pretty special. Oh, and some pretty epic dancefloor action! And did I mention the epic location?

After a few (long and often post-gym) chats with Libby both on the phone and via email, we really hit it off and I was really looking forward to heading up to Scotland to photograph the day (and I couldn’t wait to work at this stunning venue). With jaw-dropping beauty at every turn, and the most beautiful location on the edge of Loch Ness, there were so many features for any photographer to get excited about! it was a real treat to work as an Aldourie Castle wedding photographer.
Libby and Forbes put a lot of thought into the details of the wedding and everything looked stunning, the atmosphere and feel of the day was high energy and full of love, with massive smiles from Libby all day long.

I can’t thank Libby and Forbes enough for having me to document their truly wonderful day at Aldourie, I remember each moment fondly, and I loved revisiting the day whilst choosing these images (as you’ll see its a pretty long blog post). Scotland is one of my favourite places to visit, so having the opportunity to work in such a beautiful location as Aldourie, is something I will never take for granted. I hope one day I go back.
