Ash Barton Estate Wedding – Holly & Josh
What an amazing day we had with Holly & Josh (the Jolly Wedding) at their Ash Barton Estate Wedding. For me, (Mike) it started with nakedness. Male nakedness! A lot of male nakedness. You’ll not see the pictures below for obvious reasons but rest assured, it certainly was an eye opener! Josh was a pleasure to work with and had some great groomsmen. I had a hilarious day with them all.
With Holly being in the wedding industry (The Hire Emporium) we knew it was going to be styled well. The rustic candlelit chapel looked stunning. Subtly dressed and warm, despite the weather, the room was gorgeous. Perfect for a personal and touching ceremony. Led (quickly!) down the aisle by their little girl Minnie, Holly looked gorgeous in her dress. After the ceremony in the cool little chapel at the Ash Barton estate, guests were surprised by singers who started up at the end of the ceremony! This certainly went down well with everyone.
After the ceremony we headed over to the reception where all of Holly’s hard work was on show. Huge flower filled ‘Love’ letters greeted the guests as they entered the star cloth draped barn. With low lighting and styled with fairy lights the room looked cozy and welcoming. The speeches were once again hilarious. It’s often we have to hold back tears of laughter… no exception here as Josh was annihilated not only by his best man but also by his dad! Some of the images on the presentation I don’t think we’ll ever forget…..
Next came the dance floor, the serious part of the day. It was crazy. With more shapes than a box full of cookie cutters it was great to shoot! As you’ll see from the images, everyone had an amazing time. Holly and Josh decided not to have a first dance but still enjoyed being on the dance floor with their guests and the atmosphere was awesome.
What a perfect day to start our working year!
